The 5th National Meeting of Councilors for Sport and Youth will take place on Ilha Brava

The event is a response to the request made by Mr. Mário Soares, Councilor for Youth and Sports of the Municipality of Brava, during the IV National Meeting of Councilors for Sport and Youth held last year on the Island of Boa Vista. Ilha Brava will warmly welcome the delegation made up of councillors, experts in sports and youth, and other relevant figures in this field.

During the 5th and 6th of September, participants will have the opportunity to participate in a series of discussions and comprehensive workshops that will address topics such as the role of sport in promoting the health and well-being of young people, strategies for engaging young people in activities sports facilities, management of municipal sports facilities and much more.

In addition to the working sessions, participants will also have the chance to explore the natural beauty of Ilha Brava and enjoy outdoor sports activities such as hiking and others. These experiences will not only enrich the event, but will also reinforce the message that sport and youth are intrinsically linked to the environment and well-being.

The 5th National Meeting of Sports and Youth Councilors will also have a significant impact on promoting tourism on Ilha Brava. The initiative will demonstrate the island's capacity to host events of national relevance and will highlight its unique and picturesque attractions.

Mário Soares expressed his satisfaction with the choice of Brava Island to host this important event and emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen ties between municipalities and promote joint initiatives that benefit youth and sport across the country.
